Possum Creek Pickers
Bluegrass & Acoustic Band • Chattanooga, Tennessee
Band Biography
Born on the Banks of Possum Creek
Possum Creek Pickers are an authentic bluegrass and acoustic band rooted in the scenic river valleys of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The band’s origin is as genuine as their sound: long before playing festivals and listening rooms, the members started out as close friends jamming on the tranquil banks of Possum Creek in Hamilton County, where their name was born.
Driven by a shared love for timeless Appalachian acoustics, high-energy flatpicking, and soulful vocal arrangements, Possum Creek Pickers deliver a rich performance that bridges traditional bluegrass roots with lively contemporary acoustic pickin'.
Whether performing intimate acoustic sets or high-energy mainstage festival slots, Possum Creek Pickers captivate audiences with fast-tempo instrumental breakdowns, high lonesome mandolin leads, and three-part vocal harmonies that echo the heart of East Tennessee.
